White Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats

Create these Valentine lollipops as a special treat for your kiddos on Valentine’s day or for a class party!

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups Kelloggs White Chocolate Rice Krispies
  • 50 grams White Chocolate and pink or red melting chocolates
  • 200 grams mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • A handful of extra marshmallows to add to the prepared rice krispie mix
  • Sprinkles
  • Heart shaped cookies cutter
  • Cakepop sticks

Instructions:

Begin by lining a 9×13 pan with wax paper or parchment paper. Place the paper so that it comes up over the edges of the pan.

Melt the butter in your pan. Add your chocolate and stir until melted.

Add your marshmallows. Stir constantly until melted. Remove from heat.

Stir in your Rice Krispies until they are well coated. Lay them immediately into your pan lined with parchment paper.

You greased hands (with butter), a greased spatula or wax paper to gently press the rice krispies down into an even layer around the pan. They are sticky so make sure you use one of these steps.

Allow them to cool completely.

With a heart shaped cookie cutter cut out hearts from your sheet of Rice Krispies. Cut out as many as you can and save the scraps to munch on later.

Place your heart Rice Krispie treats in a row or staggered on a piece of wax paper. Stick the cakepop stick into the point of each heart.

Melt your Ruby Chocolate and white chocolate separately (I made some with ruby chocolate and some with white chocolate).

Lightly coat each of your hearts on one half of the heart. Add sprinkles to decorate.

Allow the chocolate to dry completely before packaging or serving.

These festive treats are easy to make and super delicious too.

Hope your Valentine’s day is sweet!
