It’s January and it is still chilly. In fact, around here it just recently got chilly! SO it is perfect weather for hot chocolate and even more perfect is this super duper simple recipe!
Hershey’s peppermint kisses are one of our favorite Christmas treats! And it just so happened that we had half a bag left!! Whoohoo! All you need are these delicious kisses, milk and a saucepan!
Chop up your peppermint kisses. Even cutting them in half will do the trick!
You will need around 4-5 kisses per cup of milk (an actual measuring cup, not per mug). Pour your milk into the saucepan and turn the heat on medium-low. Add your chopped peppermint kisses. Stir constantly with a whisk until the candies are completely melted. Heat to desired temperature and serve hot!
It turns a pretty pink color and is even prettier with a cute little candy cane stirrer in it! Enjoy! And stay warm and cozy!
